Shannon creates a safe space to explore yoga and calm the nervous system. There are various options provided throughout class depending on energy, mood or fitness level. I fully recommend this class if you experience stress or anxiety and want to improve your quality of life.
This yoga experience has been very grounding and healing. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what makes these classes so special, but it has something to do with how Shannon invites us to the practice with such kindness and care. Shannon was one of the first yoga instructors I had when I began practicing nine years ago and she remains one of my favorites. Her classes challenge you to do your best while offering that inner peace and quiet calm that comes with a good work out. She offers variety, guidance, and a sense of friendship and community to all who attend. If you have practiced yoga in the past or are considering taking it up especially during these challenging times you could chose a better place to begin.
Being in Shannon’s presence is like a sigh of relief and an in-breath of warmth and calmness. She possess a realness that is rare. I had limited experiences with Yoga and her calm and easy to understand instruction let me enjoy yoga without learning a new language at the same time. My body always leaves full of energy yet thoroughly moved and exercised. Her SUP classes and adventures are lovely, it was exhilarating to be out on the water during sunset and moonrise. Seeing the small fish dance and move beneath the water, being surrounded by the seals and watching the ducks and eagles above.
I have been a yoga student of Shannon's for about 10 years. Her warmth and passion for yoga and people come together with her teaching skills to provide a challenging, yet calming experience. Shannon really connects with her students and offers a practice which reflects our needs and abilities. Her class focuses on foundational postures as well as emotional wellbeing and spiritual growth.
I have also sampled her SUP classes and enjoyed the same gentle guidance, paired with a sense of adventure, lightness and humour. Shannon is serious about her practices. Her humility keeps her learning and is generous to share her gifts with others.
I love Shannon's classes, whether it be yoga or SUP! She is so patient, kind and compassionate with a beautiful soul and she intuitively knows what you need. I would highly recommend taking any of the classes Shannon offers.
“I have attended two of Shannon's "Clear Vision. Abundant life" workshops and definitely coming to the next one. Through various exercises Shannon masterfully creates a very safe grounded space for opening up and diving within. Then Shannon gently and carefully guides participants into the connection to the deepest parts of the minds, souls, feelings and desires. As a result, my vision boards are very unexpected, raw and very true to me. Every time I learn something about myself and discover my true desires for that specific period of time. After the vision board finds its place in my home the magic starts coming alive. My visions start manifesting in very easy playful and unexpected way, bringing me even more satisfaction, gratitude, magic, joy, growth than I could've imagined. Even in 2020 with the pandemic and a lot of uncertainty I look at my vision board and can't believe that by now 90% of what is there came to be true.
